PRODISM EXT. JOURNAL STANDARD" will go on sale on October 9 (Fri.) as an additional issue of "PRODISM.
This fashion magazine was produced by PRODISM from a unique perspective based on the select store JOURNAL STANDARD's 2015 Fall/Winter men's collection. Under the theme of “AMERICAN ROOTS,” the magazine examines the store's cornerstone American casual wear with a modern interpretation.
The main projects include autumn/winter looks of three major brands (JOURNAL STANDARD, J.S. Homestead, and Journal Standard TRISECT) shot in New York, the latest product guidance from 18 notable brands, snapshots by a variety of creators, a catalog of autumn/winter accessories, and original columns by prominent editors, cooks, and others. The magazine also features snapshots by a variety of creators, a catalog of autumn/winter accessories, and original columns by famous editors and cooks.
What is AMERICAN ROOTS?
For the 2015 fall/winter season, JOURNAL STANDARD has developed a collection that strongly reflects elements of “military,” “work,” and “outdoor” American casual. The collection reflects the elements of “military,” "work," and "outdoor" American casual wear. This is nothing but the expression of a mixed-up view of the world, utilizing the brand's own background that it has cultivated. Therefore, PRODISM has released a special issue featuring JOURNAL STANDARD in its entirety. The theme of this issue is "AMERICAN ROOTS". All pages of the magazine are devoted to the verification of the roots of the brand. By encountering various brands and people and tracing their roots through the magazine, you will find hints for discovering a new individuality hidden within you. Everyone has their own roots, which are connected not only to their current way of expression and work, but also to their future. Therefore, AMERICAN ROOTS is the very existence of the brand that determines the reality of JOURNAL STANDARD and suggests the future towards which it should head.
In addition, to celebrate the release of "PRODISMEXT. JOURNAL STANDARD 2015 AW STYLE & PRODUCTS BOOK," up-and-coming artist Masa Sculp designed and produced a JOURNAL STANDARD x PRODISM collaboration tote bag designed by up-and-coming artist Masa Sculp.
